I started the depo shot a week or two before my period was suppose to come on and it never came on this month it was late by a 2 days last month i need help do you think its the birth control or could i be pregnant? i've been extra sleepy everyday and when i wanna eat i cant and i've been having head aches alot ! i go back to the obgyn oct 1 i should kno then but i need some answers now !!!!!!!!!
It's very common for the depo shot to cause you to miss your period and you may not have a period at all while on the shot. Though if you are really worried, take a home pregnancy test to find out. You can take a home pregnancy test 2 weeks after having sex and get an accurate result. And if you have any questions about your birth control(the shot), don't be afraid to call your doctor and ask questions.
