I'm having something similar I'm 19 and it feels like a tight pressure point feeling around the left lung and sometimes right, it fluctuates though and is never at the same time, I havnt smoked in 8 days and its better but it feels like a finger poke right into the lung and then goes away, no asthma, and breathing is fine. And sorry for grammar I posted over my phone. Any help us greatly appreciated my doctor told me to just stop smoking and it'll pass but I don't want to wait until next visit if anyone can spot something serious over the forum. Thanks!

Someone11:

Chest pain is nothing to fool with. It could be a wide variety of things though. It depends on your age as well. It very well could be stress or evem just gas. If you experience pain near your chin that radiates to your left arm, you are advised to seek emergency treatment. I highly suggest seeing a physician asap. Try taking Aspirin daily to kill the pain and thin your blood a little until you see an MD. If you are experiencing the sharp pain when you inhale air, it is not cardiac related and just gas or air pockets and will pass. Are you allergic to any foods or pollins? Do you have asthma? Do you excercise regularly? A lot of things can play a role and only a physician who has physically seen you and listened to your heart can  make a sure diagnosis.

Go to the doctors!

It could be stress related, or there could be a real issue underlying.
