13 years old is way too young to start having sex. I would consider myself lucky if you are the only one of your friends that are not sexually active. Please do not feel like you have to have sex, just to keep up with others.

You have to remember, some of those who are saying they are having sex, really aren't...they are likely saying so just to feel like they fit in.

As soon as you open the door to sex, you are also inviting in many different things that you may not be ready for, such as sexually transmitted diseases, and pregnancy. If you are ready for sex, you also have to ready to provide contraception, be able to tell you parents, and to talk to your partner about it on an adult level.

Sex is the best, when the time is right. At 13, the time is not right, for anyone. I would concentrate on your friends, school, sports and other interests that will not leave you sick, ashamed or a father at 13 years old. All those things really do happen.

Enjoy your youth, it only lasts so long, and then it is over forever. Don't worry  yourself about this sex thing...everything will come to you in the right time. There will be a day that you find a wonderful girl that you love and that loves you. When that day comes, you will know it is right.

Please don't have sex unless you are ready to. Waiting to have sex with the right person will only make it that much more special and fun when you have waited until you are ready. Most of my friends waited until their late teens, early twenties to have sex. 13 is very young to be sexually active! There are consequences that come along with sex that you need to be ready for and at 13, there is no way you could handle them. Enjoy your time with your friends and focus in school. There is plenty of time for the dating life later on.
