hiya i have had lumpy yellowish sperm ever since i can remember. id get it most wen masturbating for a while +10 minutes.
Then i had an idea, i masturbated and produced the lumpy sperm but then. left it 10-15 minutes and masturbated again for 10+ minutes. ok it was still yellowish but no lumps half as bad as before. i think its just a build up and we are mearly flushing it out the first time.

hope this helps. if you're still worried just remember you're not alone and i have had this lumpy yellow sperm for years and no problems.........i thought it was normal till i saw porn :-)

There's nothing to worry about. "Lumpy" semen is not a sign of infection or disease. (by the way, the correct term for the fluid that you ejaculate is semen - sperm are the cells that it contains for reproduction and you can't see those).

Semen is very much the same thing as an egg white. You know that when an egg is cooked or is old the white part gets harder. The same thing happens with semen. Sometimes you'll notice little lumps in it and they probably appear more yellowish in color than the rest of it. There's nothing to worry about.

It is perfectly normal. The colour, consistency, and volume of semen changes all the time (as does sperm count and other variables which occur on a microscopic lev el).

Generally, the consistency of semen is affected by hydration (fluid intake and diet), level of arousal and duration of sex/orgasm, and the variation of the concentration of the fluids that comprise semen (which will always be slightly different each time).

But the MAIN factor which will affect semen consistency is actually related to the frequency with which the man ejaculates! Frequent ejaculation will "normalise" semen colour/consistency/volume. Lumpy or gluggy semen is generally a result of abstinence and/or infrequent ejaculation. Likewise, a man who ejaculates very frequently will also find changes.

Although this advice may sound silly and simplistic, it is the best: if you want your semen to appear textbook normal, then ejaculate regularly. What is "regular" will differ from man to man. Some men find that a few times a week is sufficient. Others feel that daily ejaculation is best. If you allow your natural sex drive to guide you, you won't go wrong.

Of course, if you are concerned, it is best to have a doctor check you out.
