rash on my scrotum PLEASE HELP

Hi, i am a 16 year old male and i have a rash on my scrotum the rash all the symptoms of jock itch, the intense itching some burning, flaking, peeling and the rash is red.

The rash appeared about 6 months ago, i thought it was heat rash or just skin irritation since i am an athlete and i am running every day of the week, about 5 weeks ago i looked up possible conditions that i might have and i realized i might have jock itch and i bought cream and Micatin powder spray. These medicine have been helping most of the symptoms except the reducing of the redness and some itchiness, the itch is not as bad anymore, the red is decreasing and i haven't experienced burning for about 2 weeks now. While reading about jock itch i noticed it said it rarely spreads to the scrotum so i was just wondering what else can it be and what kind of treatment is available.

PS. I have had a girlfriend for over a year now and we both got tested and we were both cleared of any STD's

Rash-like symptoms are very difficult to decipher without actually seeing it, but it could just be a skin irritation. The skin of the scrotum is quite sensitive, and not immune from irritation. Try sleeping through the night without pants on, possibly using a fan to dry out the area - moisture is bad for skin irritation. If the rash continues, make an appointment to see a doctor, because the only way to diagnose rash-like symptoms is by observation.

i have a problem simular to this although it is happening on the ball bag and below the penis. it comes and goes and flaking itching and peeling apears, im still worrying and waiting for help.
