Hi!
Bad vaginal odor is commonly caused by vaginal infection or inflammation (Vaginitis) or cervical inflammation or infection (cervicitis). Both vaginitis and cervicitis can be caused by sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), such as gonorrhea and Chlamydia. Vaginal yeast infection or thrush and bacterial vaginosis (BV) are the other causes. In BV there is a distinct fishy odor. To treat vaginal odor you have to first find the cause. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
