I am plan on calling the nurse since he does surgeries all day bc it does not seem right I do not have diabetes
You can get inflammation of the temporomandibular joint secondary to removall of wisdom tooth. This causes pain in opening the mouth too. Please ask your doctor about it. Also, find out whether you have diabetes or not.
thank you but I all ready took the anti inflammatory and finished it even it was not on schedule but like the last couple days on it i took it three times a day and it only bleeds when brush and flush it and get all the food junk out... not swollen any more... and feels like the pain is in the jaw bone and hurts to open to my max rub it when i clean my face should I call him or the nurse to get more anti flammatory bc I went in like two days after surgery and the nurse said I was fine looking good and she said since their was food in their for two or three days it will take longer to heal and how long usually does it take to heal
Hi!
If the site where your teeth were pulled out is still bleeding then you need to get a bleeding time and a clotting time test done. Also, your dentist would stuff in a pack to give pressure to stop the bleeding. If it is still painful, it may be due to the exposed nerve endings. Please discuss this with your dentist. You may also need anti-inflammatory drugs to reduce both pain and inflammation. Take care!
