I had sex two and a half - three weeks before my period. In this situation is it so close of a time period that if I were pregnant I would still get my period or not?

Well my period did come. But I was wondering if the time I had sex was so close to my period that I would still get it but be pregnant, and miss my next period?

If you had sex three weeks before your period was due, depending on how accurate that projection is, you might be too early to get pregnant.  But if you had (unprotected) sex 2 1/2 weeks before it was due, and again depending on how reliably your period comes when you expect it, if your period is always like clockwork, sex 2 1/2 weeks prior to when it should come is a good time to get pregnant.  Maybe the best thing to do is just see if your period comes, and if it does not, to take a test.
