17 and Scared, How do I Tell My (Very Religiouse No Sex Before Marriage) Family?

Hi, I just got the app and joined the community and am 4-5 weeks pregnant and honestly terrified of telling my family I am, anyone habe any ideas? Maybe I could wait until it starts showing but I'm going to need to start having regular doctors visits before then? I dint need my life to play out like a drama, but I dint know what to do..

No matter how old you are it is very tough to tell your family about an unplanned and "unwanted" pregnancy. Honestly its best to be honest and upfront with them in my opinion. They'll be upset and tell you they are disappointed or something along those lines, they may even yelp, but at the end of the day they still love you and will always love you. And just remember they will get over it eventually. Trust me. They can't stay mad at you forever for something they cant change or make unhappen. Tell them sooner rather than later you dont need your first prenatel visit until like 7-12 weeks but its best to keep your parents in the loop so they can help you in case anything happens and a lot of times you'll have to schedule a couple weeks in advance for ob/gyns. Rip it like a band aid girl. It'll sting at first but it wont last forever.

Thank you, honestly hearing it from a third party really helps boost my confidence.
