Concern on pregnancy test
Hello,
I went out and bought myself 2 pregnancy tests. I took one this morning and it came out as a positive, but one line was VERY pink and the other one was a faded pink. So, I took another HPT and yet again same thing. Very faded pink. 2 lines, one very pink the other very faded pink. Could I very well be pregnant? could it be a false positive? I put the HPT up to a window and you can see there is two lines. My previous pregnancy tests (Taken a year ago)only had one very pink line. It's been 10 days since I had intercourse on my ovulation date. Any ideas? Thanks.

Turns out I am pregnant. I took a clear blue digital pregnancy test and I am pregnant and I am 1-2 weeks past conception. Thank you ladies!
whether the line is faint or not that is a positive test. contact an ob/gyn for a confirmation test and get started making your appointments and on prenatals.

Any Positive lines are pregnant no matter how faded they are, I did 2 tests this time round and mine were both very very faint and here i am now 13 weeks pregnant!!!...Aslong as you read the result within the time it stated in the instructions then everything should be fine...if not then the line could be an evaporation mark!!....Congrats and good luck =]
oh yeah congrants hun you are pregnant. that what happen to me i throught it was because my hpt was from the dollar store but my when i went to my doc it was because i was too early

when i did my first test - i did it a few days before my period was due and the second line was much fainter than the test line. i did another one a few days later and it was darker. i think some of the sensitive tests shower a fainter line when there is less hcg in your system.( when is your period due? )
so i bet in a few days time you ll get a darker line if you do another test. false positives are very rare - a line is a line !- whether its fainter or not. congrats again!
