Feeling Cervix??

Does anyone know how I can feel my own cervix?
What are the steps?

I've always been squeamish when women on this site mention their continual feeling up of their cervixes. The vagina is a clean environment, built to continuously be kept that way by its natural secretions. Hands are almost the least clean part of the body. Putting a finger up there seems like it's just asking to introduce all kinds of foreign flora and fauna.

That said, if you google "checking your cervix" I'm sure you'll find a lot online.
