Non-test based conception?

Hello everyone, I was interested to know when typically a woman would realise that she was in fact pregnant, without the use of medical devices such as pregnancy test kits etc.

I suppose what I mean to say is what are the symptoms that first make you realise that you have conceived? Clearly a "bump" forming is not the first sign of being pregnant, is it the case that your breasts begin to feel different? or some other physical change? or could it be the case that missing your period is the first real sign of being pregnant?

Ideally I would be interested to know what sort of time scale the earliest signs of conception would be for someone of the age of 19-21 (e.g. 4 weeks after intercourse the first real, noticeable signs of conception are identifiable)

Thanks to all those who take the time to help.

you do not tend to take notice of any changes until maybe 2-4 weeks after intercourse. After intercourse, if a woman conceives, the egg will not implant itself until 8-12 days (so almost 2 weeks). After Implantation, a woman might then notice sore bbs, implantation bleeding (which is almost like a period but differrent & doesnt last as long), and a missed period.

She should really take a test if unsure, that is the only way to tell.

Good Luck

Thanks for your response, but would you mind if I asked how long after the sex was it you noticed this, 3 weeks?
