Thank you!
I'm still scared but now I'm more sur about this...
Hopefully I'll be okay..thank you all:)
Sperm lives for a max of a few hours, though many people wrongfully assume it dies as soon as it touches air. You can call a doctor and ask them about it, but in your case you have no reason to worry about pregnancy. Sex or sexual acts shouldn't cause such worry and stress. You two need to talk about it to make sure this is what you're really ready to do.
Thank you!
But I'm not sure.. Because every website/people give me different information (even the hotlines) about sperm... Some say it dies when it's dry some say it survives up to a day and reactivates when touched with fluid...
I really don't know, my boyfriend and I ar having terrible times, bein paranoid (almost too paranoid) and making plans for the future... I'm so scared..
There's little to no chance of pregnancy. However if an act like this has got you this worried, you should reconsider being sexually active until you are ready for the consequences that come with it.
Dry sperm is dead sperm. It needs to be warm and moist to be alive. There's nothing for you to worry about.
Thank you so much for your information...
But I really can't consult a doctor right now because it would be extremely hard to do that without my parents knowing...
After reading other things I feel like I should be okay but I'm still paranoid...
I don't want to downplay anything, because like you said, anything is possible. However, from what I have read in the past and learned, sperm can only survive outside the body (away from a warm, web environment) for up to one hour. Therefore, what little may have actually gotten inside of you would have a very low chance of surviving inside of you long enough to make it to your egg and fertilize it. Keep in mind also that if you have 2 weeks until your next period, that means you have about 3-4 weeks before you would be able to take a pregnancy test (your body needs that much time for the hormones to double daily before the test would recognize them and give a positive result).
Obviously this is something that can cause a woman to FREAK OUT if you're not planning on becoming a mom right now, but try to not let it get to you. It wouldn't hurt to speak to a medical professional. You can either call the local nurse line or your nearest reproductive clinic. Most of them allow you to call with anonymous questions about pregnancy. Or try a website that allows you to chat with a medical professional like this one: http://www.**********.com/sip/health?r=ppc|ga|1|Health|Nurse+-+1&JCRN=Doctors+and+Nurses&JPKW=nurse%20hotline&JPDC=S&JPST=&JPAD=7497346923&JPAF=txt&JPCD=20110428&JPRC=1&JPOP=Cass_AnswersToday_Answers&gclid=CKn0oY7e6qgCFZIf2godNGQXDg
I hope that helps and things end well for you!
