Pregnant or weird period?

I'm 17 and sexually active, I'm not on birth control or anything. My periods normally last for 4-5 days and are reasonably heavy. I got what I think was my period because it came on the day I was due but it was bright red blood and very very light, i could've used one pad and it wouldn't have been full. It only lasted 2 days and that's it.. I've never had anything like this and I'm worried.. Could I be pregnant or just experiencing a very weird period?

It's possible you could be pregnant. If it's been two weeks since the incident you should take a pregnancy test and see if it's positive before making a doctor's appointment. However, it could also just be an off cycle. Any woman can have a weird period every now and then, it's totally normal. I had one cycle in September where I only spotted for a few days and it was done and I wasn't pregnant.

if you have a free clinic where you live you could go there or go to your dr.s office set an appointment an ask that they not tell your parents or call the house the day before the appointment. but im not sure they'll do it considering your still under 18. I knew my pcp very well he'd do anything for me if I asked.
I have had a period like this tho an ended up I wasnt pg. mine are just like yours only usually 5 days an the first three are very heavy, when i became sexually active was when all these weird periods started to happen. hope this helps

If it's your first time being sexually active (if you've just had your first sexual experience) then it's not unusual to have a strange period right after. After my first time i was really worried because i was a little late, and it was shorter than usual. It only lasted 3 days. I think it's just your body adjusting is all. If however u have already been sexually active for any amount of time, and this is the first time you've experienced this type of period. Then you very well may be spotting. I'd do what Mom2be01113 said. wait a couple more days, and buy a test. It would probably be good to set up an appointment with your doctor as well so that they could run some blood tests. Hope my comment was helpful! Good luck!! :)

I would give it a couple more days and by a test to check. If you are still concerned schedule an appointment with your doctor or go to a pregnancy center where the test are more accurate and if it is positive they can give you the info you need and what steps to take...Good luck!
