Spotting/Implantation Bleeding?? help!!!!

Hello everyone!! :) I have a question about SPOTTING. I know that spotting is blood you discharge as a result of a fertalized egg burrowing/attatching itself into the uterine wall, but what i dont know is if spotting occurs in EvErY pregnancy. And when spotting occurs, is there always a NoTiCiBle amount of blood thats discharged? In other words, if i am pregnant, should i be looking for spotting, and will i be able to tell when it's happening? Any comments/advice would be very helpful. Thank you very much for your time! And for everyone out there who's TTC, i wish you tons of luck!!!! :)

Most women don't experience implantation bleeding/spotting when they get pregnant. Most of the time, if they do experience it, it will be a few spots of blood that dont even make it onto the panty liner or pad. It's just there when they wipe.

Spotting is not just caused by the egg implanting. Implantation bleeding is not that common. Spotting can be caused by other things too. No spotting doesn't occur in every pregnancy either. Some women spot at the start or end of their period. Some women never spot. Spotting is like it sounds - a spot of blood. Usually it's light in colour since it's so light. Spotting would not require the use of any feminine products - anything that does is going to be heavier and not considered spotting.

Don't always go looking for spotting because you can imagine seeing it at times and it's not a sign of pregnancy either. You can't determine pregnancy on symptoms as they can be symptoms of many other things. If you suspect you're pregnant then take a HPT with first morning urine and you'll find out if you are or not.
