stomach pains

i'm just wondering if there is anybody else out there getting the same stomach pains as me, i'm 14weeks pregnant and have not yet been for my 1st scan and i'm getting really awful pains in my stomach it doesn't happen all the time but when it does i know about it. if any body's got any info or advice that would be great. thanks

Yea Im also havin tha same thing every now and then...but Im only 7w2d...but I believe its the ligaments strecthing...GOOD LUCK!!!

i only got my scan at 7 weeks because I was bleeding.  My first doctors appointment was set for 10 weeks and I dont think I would have been scanned then.  It is odd that you are 14 weeks with no scan though.  Were you offered the downs test?  That should have been at 12 weeks.  Anyway, it does sound like ligiment pains.

I agree, you need to see the doctor.  They usually will do the first u/s scan by 6-8 weeks.  But Kim is right on, it sounds to me like it could be round ligament pain.  It's very normal during pregnancy.  You have to remember how much your body is stretching and adjusting.  Your uterus is always expanding so you will get all types of aches and pains throughout your pregnancy.

why havent you had a ultrasound yet? i had my first one at 5w5d

anyways i know from the start of the second trimester all the way to the end i was feeling aches and pains all over! it could be your ligaments stretching
