Impacted tooth and hand/feet joint pain/swelling

by Dee6566, Jul 28, 2009 12:25PM
I have been having major swelling and pain in different joints from my wrist, hand, ankle, feet and toes.  As of right now the Rhumatologist are not sure why.  I went to a dentist this morning.  I have an impacted wisdom tooth that is starting to surface.  This does not hurt my mouth at all.  I can't get to the oral surgeon for a consult for another month.  Could this wisdom tooth be the culprit to my joint pain and swelling?

Theoretically it's possible, but unlikely.
