Leision in condyle

Okay I was referred to an oral surgeon 6 months ago for a leision that was incidentally found on my condyle.  When I saw him, he told me that I had flattening of the bones and osteoarthritis, I do have some severe tmj, then he told me to come back in 6 months, so I did, this time a panoramic dray, which I did not understand, of course different doctor being military and all, now the want to do another catscan with iodine contrast, he does not think it has gotten bigger, and to give me a piece of mind........I am a nervous wreck, can someone tell me if they have ever went through this?
