lump in lower lip after accident

I met with an accident 5 years back n since then ny lower lip has always been unsymmetrical. I was 16 then.i waited in d hope dat wid tym d lump wud even out bt it didn. When i was 17 i spoke to my surgeon bout it n he said dat steriods wud solve d prob bt he didn allow me to opt for it at dat age. Cn i go for them nw? Or is plastic surgery d only solution? Hw much wud it cost?
