Orofacial pain is a pretty young profession, even in the united states. I am not familiar with your residence area. You may need to find a medical center in which there is a chronic pain management team.
See if you can find an experienced oral and maxillofacial specialist of excellent reputation who treats TMJ patients in your area. Be sure and tell them the symptoms and extreme limitations your Mom is experiencng.
Ask for a TMJ panorex x-rays and also, ask to get a specially dedicated MRI to the TMJ joints to see what is going on with your mom's jaw discs, because with her degree of disability from this, there is likely to be something wrong in that department.
