Saw change in sperm color within the past week

what does it mean if there is a dark color in sperm?

Generally that has no bad meaning.

Is it after ejaculation,the sperm came out like brown in color? My boyfriend face this recently and his testicle is hurt on one side but doctor mentioned its ok as long not both.So he been given some antibiotics,paracetamol, pain killer.He is getting better less fever just the the sperm still in brown clor not sure is it blood.Please help ;(
