testicular lump

hi, Ive had a tiny little bump on my right testicle for about 4 years. well i notice it 4 years ago. Its the size of a bebe. its never been painful, it hasn't grown any, and my testicle hasn't changed in anyway. I'll go threw these periods though were I don't feel very good. The best way to describe the way that i feel is that my eyes will feel a little dry and i just don't feel 100 percent. Then it goes away and i will feel great again. Kinda weird right? I know the only way to know for sure that nothing is wrong with me is to see a doctor, but I have no insurance. I got laid off from my job a couple of years ago. The question that I have is 1. If this is a cancerous lump on my testicle could it go untreated for four years from the time i noticed it and 2. could my eyes feeling dry be related to testicular cancer in any way. Like i said i have no insurance that way i'm writing this. Any comment would be greatly appreciated

I'm glad you made an appointment.  Ask the doctor questions about prostate and what ever else you can think of while your there.  I'm sure everything will be fine.

Hello,

I'm not a doctor I can give you my opinion for what its worth, but I still dont feel comfortable with you not seeing a doctor about this.  Here goes.... a testicular lump that is tiny as you said and has not changed in any way in four years is probably not testicular cancer.  Is the lump hard and attached to the testicle?   As far as dry eyes i haven't heard of a correlation like that with tc.  I just want to mention something that Id like you to remember.  Tc is known as a young mans disease (teens to thirties) but men your age and over are still at risk. ( my boyfriend was your age at diagnosis)  Please continue to do self exams and if you notice anything has changed you really need to see a urologist.  Consider a community health center or make payment arrangements at a hospital credit dept if you have any health care concerns in the future .   I hope a job comes your way soon.  Hang in there.
