Almond Milk? And other diet ?s

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at birth, and have been taking medication sense 8days old. Currently i take .125 dose of lyvoxyl. I'm almost 19, 5'3, 110lbs.
Trying to start some healthy habits.
I hate milk and eat little cheese. Dairy is just not really my thing. I was considering adding almond milk to my diet, would this be bad for someone of my condition?

Also what types of food would be beneficial?

there is no specific thyroid diet that has been proven to be better or worse than following general rules of healthy eating.
I don't know of any problem with almond milk and hypothyroidism.
It is best to take your medication on an empty stomach.
