Colloid cyst in thyroid

Hi everyone. I just wanna ask about colloid cyst that seen in my ultrasound for thyroid. The colloid cyst size is 2mm and no thyroid nodule seen. What is the next steps to be done if I have colloid cyst? Why my neck is really painful in all area of my neck. I can't explain the pain but it bothers me alot. The endocrinology told me that my thyroid is normal but still thinking why it hurts. Please help me to understand my situation. I don't know what to do next.

Thank you for your response. This is my first time to get a terrible sick and pain in neck. Which doctor should I  go for ENT evaluation? Should I go back to my endocrinologist? Please reply me so I know what to do.. I appreciate your advice.

This is a very common finding, no specific followup is required for a 2 mm colloid cyst.  If the thyroid ultrasound is this normal, the neck pain is not likely related.  Consider ENT evaluation.
