Constant hoarseness/complete loss of appetite

Hello, I am a 39 year old female and previously was a heavy smoker for many years. Two months ago my voice began to become hoarse and continues to stay hoarse. 7 days ago I began to completely lose my appetite and have lost 5 lbs in a week. I have an appointment with a ENT doctor today and I am a little nervous. I have very little pain if any but sometimes have a little bit in my neck but that is it! I do have asthma and 3 months ago breathed in Chlorine fumes and I had to be treated with Steroids. Could this constant hoarseness be from my steroid inhaler??I have to use it 4 times, twice a day,

ENT evaluation is appropriate - this is not likely due to thyroid.
