Cortisol levels

I am on armour thyroid - 60mgs. I recently had a cortisol level test done which my doctor claimed was normal - 9.8. But I still feel like I am suffering from adrenal fatigue. I am often dizzy when standing - tired, and low motivation. I am going into my second month on Armour but dont' feel any huge difference or improvement in my mental state. I have not lost a single pound despite increased activity and reduced calorie intake.
My cortisol test was done around midday. Does time of day affect results? I have consistently low body temperatures - not once have I read 98.6 or even near it - even after workign out and I barely sweat when I exercise. I was hoping the Armour would improve that but so far no luck. Any suggestions? Should I see an endocrinologist? Thank you!

A cortisol of 9.8 is fairly normal, especially if it is mid-day - so the probability of adrenal insufficiency is low.  If you are not improving with the armour, then seeing an endocrinologist may be worthwhile to make sure there is nothing else to address.
