Greg- TSH problem

I forgot to mention in my question that I just learned that my TSH is about .05 and once before I also felt very hyper at this range. I have tried to stick it out for the last two weeks to see if it levels out but I keep feeling worse. I'm hoping my doc can get the TSH to around 1.5 or so to see how I feel. It seems that my TSH is at 4- 6.0 with 112 mcg Synthroid but .05 with 125 mcg Syhnthroid, and neither feel good. I have a good job and like to be active so this is a problem.

Have a great day, Greg

Yes, alternating may help.  Also make sure you are getting the synthroid brand consistently and not a generic.  Another option would be to take 125mcg but one day a week take only 1/2 tab.

Hi--the doctor will advise, but some people have success with alternating doses. For example, 112 mcg on one day, 125 mcg the next. That way you'd end up with a dose inbetween 112 and 125.
