Hello.
A couple of months ago i had routine blood work done because i take sertraline. unexpectedly, my tsh value was <.004. i redid the labs two days later and my tsh was <.02. i was then referred to an endocrinologist.
she prescribed more tests, TPO, TSII, etc. the only thing elevated was my antithyroglobulin. my tsh was again <.004, my free t3 was elevated at 5.2, and my free t4 was normal. my raiu was low (like 1.6%) and my sonogram showed nothing out of the ordinary other than some swollen lymph nodes around my thyroid.
cbc and such were normal. creatinine and creatinine to something? ratio was elevated.
my endocrinologist feels that i have silent thyroiditis unrelated to pregnancy/postpartum (my youngest is 2 years old). i am to go back in august for follow up.
does this sound right? should i be concerned about anything else. cancer?
thanks,
mia
