Hypothyroid?

I've had alot of the symptoms of hypothyroid for the last few months. Depression, weight gain, inability to lose weight despite reduced calories and exercise 6 days per week, dry skin brittle slow growing nails, mood swings, irregular periods.

I just got back by test results from a thyroid cascade (dr wouldn't order the T4 or T3 tests even though I asked) and cholesterol and other hormone tests

TSH .634

CHOLESTEROL TOTAL 201 (UP FROM 183 11MTHS AGO)
LDL 109 (UP FROM 90 11 MTHS AGO)
TRI 114 (DOWN FROM 163 11 MTHS AGO)
HDL 69

PROGESTERONE .3
LH 2.2
FSH 7.8

What should I do next?  My dr seems to want to blame "preimenopause". I'm only 38.

Hi Mark, please help
I have a question relating to my thyroid. My doctor is stumped, as well as my endocrinologist, I have been suffering from hypothyroid for many years now. I am only 17 years old, and I'd like to continue my life happily without these lingering symptoms. I just recently have started thyroid hormone treatment. However, my results are wacky and are all over the place. They are different each time I check the levels. Now my FT4 is under range, my tsh is low, and my FT3 is low/normal. What does this mean? what should I do next? Is this normal for the free t4 to be so low? Ft3 is also kind of low but my tsh is suppressed.

TSH : .7 (.3-3)
FT4 : .7 (.8-1.8)
FT3 : 2.6 (2.3-4.2)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
TSH looks normal - not likely thyroid related.
