Is this the Thyroid or Allergies?

I was diagnose with thyroid since 200 and i have taken the radio active treatment and am now on levothyroxine 0.05mg which i take daily. I don't know if it's because of the thyroid but i have been experience serious allergies for the past two year.  I have seen my doctor and been on medication, every year during the allergy season, i will have to take special treatment for three day to be able to breath again normal. i am always stuffy, can only breath through my mouth, sneezing, running nose, itchy eyes continuously. Now it seems the allergy is year round, i don't have a break. After I get up and use the toilet at nights, i can't go back to sleep when i get back to bed (for an hour or 2) because of sneezing and blowing my nose. My nose is always running, my throat itchy and tongue all the time and lately i started having swollen tongue , it happen 4 times already, it usually happen over night when i get up in the morning, my mouth is full and i can't talk clearly and after about 4-6hours it will disappear.  i don't know what is causing it. Whenever i have a cold it will go on for over a week because i don't know if it a cold or the allergies. I did have an environment allergy test done and am allergic to walnut and flowery trees. i am yet to do the food test. I am tired of seeing my doctor and taking so many allergy medication. I am beginning to feel am over medicating myself.  I am desperate and really need your help. What do you think is the matter with me. What can I do? Thank you

Try to change Levothyroxine to something else, I heard some people allergy to thyroid meds(the inactive portion). So, try to use Synthroid or Armour for a few weeks, and see if that help.

This is not likely directly related to thyroid - but some thyroid patients seem to be more allergic than non-thyroid patients.  Keeping the TSH in target range (0.5-2.5) is probably the best you can do from a thyroid-standpoint.
