Latest Labs

Hi, I am  59 yr old woman, post meno ,these are my labs from last Saturday, fasting at 8 AM. Armour Thyroid meds day before were 1 and 1/2 gr tab sub lingual in the morning, same after lunch.
Previously had a ferritin of 25, got that up by taking OTC CVS brand iron tabs 2 x daily since last fall. Cut back to one a day and the result is below. When the ferritin got raised, the Armour kicked in and I started to lose weight (20 lbs since Feb) But I am also experiencing thinning of hair, especially around the top and sides, I normally have very thick hair. I had started taking tylenol PM every night with my cal/mag tablet to sleep through the night. I have read that might be a contributing cause of the hair issue.
Cholesterol has always been high, trys are down from 120 to 88. I tend to eat lower carb but some times have whole grain bread, some pizza, etc.

Ferritin 106.7 (10-291)
Iron 60 (35-150)

Free T3 308 (230-420)
Free T4 1.06 (0.80 -1.80)
TSH <0.01 (0.35-5.50)

Progesterone 0.5 (post meno 55)
LDL 160 (<130)

MCV and MCH are borderline low by 1 pt each
WBC 6.5 (4.5 -10.8)
RBC 4.87 ( 4.00 -5.40)

I am wondering what dosage to titrate to to get the TSH and FT3 up. Adrenals are ok. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks.

Hi, yes I have started decreasing my dosage . I was taking 1 1/2 gr 2 x daily, I am now taking 3/4 of each tab 2 x daily. I also found out I should be testing my thyroid 4 hrs after my last dose as the T3 has a 4 hr life span. These labs were a fasting test because it included lipids but the time before that I also tested at 8 AM with my previous dose at 2 PM the day before. I am planning to retest in a few weeks.
Thank you!

Clearly too much thyroid hormone coming in (TSH undectable) -- need to decrease the armour dose -- would talk to your doctor about the right dose decrease for you.
