Levoxyl and blood test result

D58
I was not aware of any health problems and I do not have loss of vigor. Based on my blood test result my doctor made a derision regarding my thyroid gland, and  Levoxyl 0,05 mg was prescribed,
My questions:
1. Which blood test parameters are telling that I have to start/stop taking Levoxyl?
2. Can I replace Levoxyl with natural products (some diet, using the iodized salt, etc.) ?
Many thanks!

Usually levoxyl is started for hypothyroidism -- a high TSH level would be the tip-off.  Natural products have not been proven to be consistently helpful.

Hello.

I take Levoxyl .112. Your TSH probably was out of range, meaning that your thyroid is not making enough hormone and the Levoxyl will assist with that. Then your thyroid won't have to work so hard to keep up with the demand.
