Lump on partial thyroid
Had partial thyroidectomy 9years ago,after having graves ,now seem to have lump on left side ,can't understand this ultra sound, doctor mentioned a lot of blood really worried

Partial (and not total) thyroidectomy for history of Graves' disease brings up the risk of regrowth of Graves' disease thyroid tissue which tends to be hypervascular on ultrasound.  Correlation with nuclear imaging may be warranted if you are now hyperthyroid without thyroid medications.
