Other Symptons associated with Thyroid

I feel this sensation in my head, like a swelling sensation.  Any thoughts?  I think I should get a MRI.  Does anyone else have this problem?

would talk with your primary doctor  - this is not likely thyroid.  some type of imaging (like MRI or CT) will possibly be needed.

I have Graves Disease as well as a large goiter.  I had the experience of tightening in my head upon the onset of my hyperthyroidism, but I didn't know how to describe it.  Now, when I raise my arms above my head I have the same sensation.

I have had Hashimotos since 1984 and am on oroxine. Over this time I have had several episodes of hyperthyroid and one of my symptoms is a tightening in my head as though I have a torniquet around my neck. Each time I have had this I have tested overactive and have had to reduce my dosage.
