Would keep decreasing the MMI as the TSH seems consistently high on treatment; may be able to come off the MMI. It may not have been graves, but rather thyroiditis as the cause of the hyperthyroidism - in these cases, it is self-limited and medications are not needed. Also, thyroiditis is more likely than graves to cause pain in the thyroid.
I never had this swelling feeling, pain, or anything else before my TSH increased. Could that indicate that the large swing in TSH could cause inflammation of the thyroid?
