Symptoms

I have had many lab tests for low thyroid and all I'm ever told is they are normal.

The only Dr. that has actually showed me results did not do a TSH - these are the results he gave me.

T3 Uptake  36.2  -  expected range 20.0-38.5
T4 6.0 (4.4-12.5)
Reverse T3  134  (90-350)
Thyroid Peroxidase AB  17  (less than 35)

I don't know what any of these mean - but, ihave all the symptoms of low thyroid.

Any advise on what I should do?

Definitely head to and Endo if you haven't already.  There have been some recent studies showing that "normal" is actually drastically different for everyone and that treatments with low-moderate doses of Synthroid (or similar) can help people who are exhibiting symptoms of low thyroid function even if the numbers are within normal range.

I have alot of problems w/thyroid too. It took me going to Endo doc, myself to get any help. Though not much help. My family doc would n't listen. I urge you to find another doc. You will also have to do alot, alot of research on your own, which looks like you are, since you have posted here.
I am still sick, though on generic synthroid. I take 0.75mg/daily. I am to the point of being bedridden. I can't get any doc to really look into my problem! If you want to know my symptoms,if you think it may help you, I just placed a post. I hope you get the help you need and deserve.

Tell the doctor you want your TSH tested. All your other labs look normal. If the TSH is normal, maybe it is something else wrong.
