What part does the pituitary gland have with the parathyroid gland ?

I have to write a paper and presentation on the parathyroid hormone, I need to know what part of the pituitary gland helps or regulates this hormone?  Also need to know what the hormone does when it is working right and not working right?  Thank youo, Sierra63

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
parathyroid is not governed by the pituitary -- this is in contrast to the thyroid (governed by TSH release from the anterior pituitary).
