When should I get concerned

I have one last question when should I get concerned in regards to the inside of my throat swelling? Sounds silly but can my air way be obstructed as I am really feeling alot of swelling and a huge lump in my throat.

Thanks for the quick response's. I guess it is just uncomfortable and irrating feeling that you have or feel you have a BIG throat. And yes I will be mentioning the acid reflux when I see the Dr that is something else I just learnt too.

It is very, very rare for the swelling to shut off your airway. Only time I have heard of this happening is with thyroid cancer, which a tumor grew large. If your throat is feeling that bad, mention acid reflux to your doctor. I was not able to eat or drink for quite a while. They thought it was my thyroid and the ENT said it was acid and not the thyroid. One just irritated the other.

I would go to the dr. if it starts to feel like it is shuting off your airway. I do believe it is a possibility from what I've read but very rare. Or if it just becomes to uncomfortable I would contact the Doc.
I hope You're better soon!
