both high tsh and ft4

For about a year now ive got a high ft4 and (!) high tsh. Not incredible high, but ft4 20.9 and tsh 4.2. I do have symptoms but.my.doctor says  they apply in both hypo and hyper. What could my blood results mean and how can.I find.out.what's wrong with me, besides running blood.tests??

Would test T3 as well as Total T4.
The combination of truly high TSH and T4 is rare and would mean thyroid hormone resistance or a pituitary problem.  If the pattern persists, you should see an endocrinologist.

so to be exact: I am not being treated and have not been diagnosed. I don't use any medicins and am just under blood observation every three months for the past year, where the results remained both high
