hoarseness after RAI treatment

RA1
I got home on the 23rd this month from iodine treatment. On that day I had hoarseness and my voice changed. How long does it take and do I need to take anything for that?

Also, having swelling in feet and sometimes numbness on hands- but the numbness in hands go away and comes back, vs. I also emailed my surgeon about this situation. He says lack of hormone and water retain. Today I'm going to a body scan test and will see the doctor and ask him also. I also read on the intertnet that Myxedema can cause coma.

May take a few weeks (1-2 usually) for the soreness and hoarseness to resolve -- have seen it take 3-4 weeks in some cases.  Sometimes being hypothyroid (which most people still go through with RAI) can aggravate the hoarseness - so being back on meds should help.
