I was diagnosed 15 years ago with hyper thyroidism. I took meds briefly but they made me suicidal. I talked to the doc about it I went through 2 other meds with the same reaction. I stopped taking them and started including more copper in my diet, I used lemon balm to calm my heart rate which to date is still normal along with my blood pressure. I was doing great. 2 years ago I started menopause and I feel like my throid has burned out. I'm still hungry all the time, like when my throid had been super hyper but the problem is I can't seem to lose weight no matter how hard I try. I'm tired all the time and I get cold a lot. Is this the hormones, the thyroid a combo or something else all together?
