thyroid problems?
I am 52 always had problems losing weight, my eyes are dry I am taking Genleal gel drops seems to help some. I have a nodule on my thyroid discovered two years ago. I do not have hospitalization so I have been putting the tests off. I am wondering if I could be having dry eyes caused from the thyroid nodule? What types of Thyroid problems cause dry eyes?

Dry eyes are usually not due to thyroid unless you have Graves disease.  The nodule is not likely related to your symptoms.  Would need to look at thyroid function to make sure normal.  Nodules are usually benign but need to be followed to make certain it is stable.
