My blood test for thyroid function came bk with a reading of 28.. my G.p said reading should be between 12-20.  This i over medication. So i need to reduce my thyroxine from 125mcg to 100mcg.
Is this correct? im worried because i dnt want to have underactive symptoms again.. want reassurance and a brief explanation on what these readings mean so i can have a better understnding.. my G.p couldnt explain this to me

If you mean the T4 was high, then reducing the thyroxine is appropriate - we usually titrate this based on TSH levels.
