thyroid test results
I had a thyroid uptake and scan and im not understanding the results which is there is a slight photopenia in the inferior pole of both lobes of the thyroid gland relative to the rest of the thyroid gland. what does all this mean?

Slight photopenia means a possible cold nodule.  This needs to be correlated with ultrasound and considered for fine-needle aspiration as well as interpreted along with the TSH and T4 testing.
