I dont know about the oviran cancer connection... as nodules are very common. I had a 3.0 cm nodule remove 3 weeks ago along with the whole right lobe, as it was benign.. though thryoid cancer is very curable, most are 85% benign. FNA are very painless little piches.. I wish you the best of luck and may the lord bless you with good health and blessings! Best of luck ~~~~~ Stay stong & positive =)

I had total thyroidectomy in August for thyroid cancer. Two comments here: Most thyroid cancers are very slow growing, so you have time, try not to worry. I know that is easier said than done. It sounds like you have so much on your plate right now. I will keep you in my prayers.
Second of all, don't know if you have had FNA yet or not, but MINE was not painless little pinches. My cancer had been there long enough that there was calcification and it hurt like a big dog. I also think it depends on the doc doing the FNA as well.
I can only imagine how you must be feeling right now, so just remember that thyroid cancer is very very treatable and curable in some cases.
Good luck on your journey
