Dr. Lupo, I asked the questions below several days ago. I think maybe a part of my question was missed. My question is, if both D and Ferritin are low, would you recommend treating them BOTH simultaneously, or would you recommend doing one at a time.

Hello. I have a couple of questions. I currently take synthroid, I also have low ferritin and vitamin D
levels. When I take iron and "D", even while separating from the thyroid med by 6 hours, I need an increase in synthroid. Could it be that maybe I really need the higher level of synthroid, and by treating the low d & ferritin levels, it is allowing me to take more. Also, do you think that it is important to treat all the low levels simultaneously. What do you like for the ferritin & "D" levels to be?
Ferritin 9 (10-250)
D 23 (32 - 100)
