I apologize for posting so frequently. However, I am very frustrated with my current situation.
Recently I posted a questions about the fact that my dr. put me on
tapazole 10 mg /day. I have
postpartumPost-partum depression thyroiditis, I had it with my

First-testosterone mc child, and now my second. As per your response, you were not sure why I was put on
tapazole for hyperthyroid. Within a week of taking the meds, I started feeling pretty ill, I had a hoarse voice, losing my hair, gained some weight. Then I was getting a soar
throatCancer - throat or larynx
Throat swab culture which is a side effect of the
Tapazole and severe bruising. I contacted my endocrinologist to tell them and they never called me back. I went to my GP and she said that my wbc was within normal limits. Three weeks later (last week) I went to my Endo for a follow up and she looked concerned and asked me how I was feeling. Awful obviously! She said I had no thyroid. She doesn't explain herself well I feel. Does she mean I am not producing any thyroxine? I'm obviously hypo right? She gave me right then and there 2 doses of synthroide .112/mg and removed me from the tapazole immediately.
Now, I've been taking synthroide for the past week, once daily at .112 mg. I have to go back for more blood work in a week from now. I'm not sure if I'm experiencing side effects but I feel severely sluggish, I am irritable, dizzy and really anxious. What is this? I feel bad for saying this but I don't feel comfortable with my endo. She had acknowledged that she had made an error and should have "pick that up" as she said and apologized. She hadn't even checked the blood work from within the time frame that I was on tap to noticed that I was becoming hypo.
So, is this normal? How long before tapazole gets out of your system, since I am still bruising like crazy?
Thank you!!
Happy Easter.
