He would like to follow up with another ionized calcium in 6 months. For what ever reason my
PTH is falling, is there anything I need to look out for in the future?
I've had muscle twitching & spasms in my calves for approx. 4-41/2 years now and because the calcium seems to appear normal what could be causing this. I've since developed intermittent numbness around the mouth, the feeling of pins & needles at the bottom of my feet when I walk and muscle twitching starting between my wrist and elbows.
My Endo believes that I may need to see a neurologist. This is fine with me as long as it has nothing to do with the PTH. (Kind of a wasted test if you know what I mean.) Any input would greatly be appreciated.
