I hope this isn't a dumb question, but I am currently taking 75 mcg
Synthroid (my starting dose, since I've only been recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism) and I read on the prescription insert that calcium and iron supplements interfere with
T4T4 test absorption. What about food that's fortified with calcium and iron - like breakfast bars or cereal? Should I avoid eating anything - even yogurt - that may have these things in them within four or more hours of taking my
Synthroid?
I appreciate your help!
