Does it get better?

Total thyroidectomy for well differentiated micro-papillary carcinoma done Oct. 30, 08.  Started on Synthroid 150.  Nov. 08 blood results:  TSH 0.42, FT4 13.9.  Dec. 08 blood results:  TSH 4.65, FT4 10.2.  Synthroid increased to 175.  On and off fatigue, brain fog, nausea and depression.   No significant weight change.  55 year old male.  Is this going in the right direction?

The increase was a comve in the right direction - keeping the TSH in the 0.2-0.5 range would be the usual.....not sure why the difference in TSH b/w Nov and Dec unless there was another medication or supplement that changed the dose requirements.

Thanks for the response.  Latest blood results will be reviewed on Monday.  This fine tuning adjustment of dosage can take a while, can't it?
